Emerging Leader (Age 17-24) Nomination 2018

Dear Friends,

Iowa International Center invites you to nominate an outstanding young immigrant or refugee who has made a positive impact in Iowa as an Emerging Leader. To qualify, the nominee must be between the ages of 17-24. One will be selected as an honoree at the Passport to Prosperity gala on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Olmsted Center at Drake University.

Please review the  Nomination Checklist, and submit your nomination along with all requested materials and forms before 5 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018

    As a new award for 2018, the Iowa International Center invites you to nominate an outstanding young immigrant or refugee who is an emerging leader in our community. The emerging leader must be between the age of 17-24, and has made a positive difference for the immigrant and refugee community in Iowa. To qualify for the award, nominees must receive TWO letters of support and must be available to receive the award at the event. Nominations should be submitted before 5 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018.
  • Nominee must receive two formal letters of support in order to qualify as an honoree
